Charm is silver and | Christopher Reeve suffered his devastating spinal cord injury on May 27, 1995. That same day, on the other side of the country, a vigorous young man by the name of Mike King had a mountain bike accident and became a C4-C5 quadriplegic. For several years Mike battled the constant pain endured by many quadriplegics. In August of 2003, while having a pain pump implanted, he died in the hospital of an infection. These elegant charms were created by Gary and Mary Ellen King in loving memory of their son, Mike. |
