Hosted Working 2 Walk in Washington DC annually since 2006, featuring presentations by leading researchers, pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, and community advocates.

Hosted Regional Working 2 Walk in Chicago in 2009, Phoenix in 2010

Mobilized the paralysis community to advocate for passage of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Paralysis Act, finally achieving victory with the bill's enactment in March of 2009.

Published Advocacy & Fundraising Toolkits, step-by-step guides to help community members take action.

Created Bridges 2 Hope, an online and print media publication of pictures and stories from the paralysis community.

Built strong and enduring partnerships with the key players who together will bring recovery to those living with paralysis: researchers, legislators, private industry, peer organizations, practitioners, and advocates.

Opened and enhanced a dialogue between the scientific and advocate communities through Working 2 Walk, lab visits, website reports and newsfeed.

Have steadily and increasingly given visibility and a voice to those in the paralysis community who are ready to advocate for curative therapies.
